You sign in with Google or Facebook, and the name and photo from that account appear next to your listings, offers, and reviews. That visibility between traders is a safety feature. Your email is never shown to anyone.

What we collect

Your name, photo, and email from your sign-in provider, your city and trade radius, your listings and photos, offers, chats, and trade history.

Why

To run the marketplace: showing items near you, delivering offers and chats, and keeping the community safe. Nothing else.

Location

We use your city to decide which shelf your items appear on and to keep trades local. We never show your address or precise location to anyone.

Chats

Messages are stored so both traders keep a record of what was agreed. If you report a conversation, our moderation team can review that thread.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies keep you signed in. Optional analytics load only if you accept them in the consent banner, with IP anonymization on. No advertising cookies, ever.

Your rights

Ask us to export or delete your data any time: hello@xchng.ca. Deleting your account removes your listings, offers, and chats.
