xchng is a marketplace where items trade for items and money never changes hands. Everything is 100% off. You just pay in stuff you already own.

   Create an account with Google or Facebook. Your name and photo appear next to your listings and offers, the same way they do on Facebook Marketplace. Real people trading face to face is what keeps this place honest.

   List something you own

   Snap photos, write an honest description, pick a condition, and give your own estimate of what it is roughly worth. Your item goes on your city's shelf the moment you publish. Listing is free and stays free.

   Browse your city

   Every item you see trades within your area, so the swap can actually happen in person. Switch cities any time with the picker in the header.

   Buy without paying

   Found something you want? Offer one or more of your own items in exchange. Combine a few smaller things to match a bigger one. There is no cash option, that is the whole point.

   The trader picks

   The person who listed the item compares every offer side by side and accepts the one that feels fair. Reference values help, but people decide, not price tags.

   Meet and swap

   Chat to agree on a public meetup spot, bring your items, and trade hands. No shipping, no couriers, no waiting.

   Confirm and build your rank

   After the swap, both traders confirm it happened and rate each other. Only people you have actually traded with can review you, so ranks mean something.

   Keep the community safe

   Report anything that feels off. Listings that break the rules come down, and traders who act in bad faith lose their account. Small city, long memory.
